Grantland Rice is one of the worst sports writers to be in the 1900s because of his actions and stories during this period of time. He was responsible for a lot of the worst pathologies of sportswriting today, and the fact what Rice did to so many ball players over the years. He also makes racist jokes in his reporting or makes up a hard story to grab everyone's attention about a certain ball player and it will ruin the reputation .
